In February 2020, Gold Thread productions took Marsha Norman’s pulitzer-prize-winning play, ‘NIGHT, MOTHER to the Landor Space Theatre in London.LARA MARKS and NATALIE LAUREN starred in this sell-out run of Norman’s Pulitzer-prize winning hard-hitting two-hander.
Taking place in real-time over the course of one evening after Jessie reveals to her mother, Thelma, that she plans to kill herself that night, ‘Night, Mother is a harrowing and powerful exploration of depression and suicide. This production was staged in aid of Papyrus, a charity for suicide prevention.
An original song entitled 'Night, Mother after the play's title was composed for the end of the show by indie-pop duo With What Eyes
